"This Is Not 1967, The Igbos Are Not On Their Own" FFK Blows Hot As Miyetti Allah Threatens IPOB

Miyetti Allah's threat to IPOB has been causing many reactions online, the latest reaction is from chief Femi Fani-Kayode who stated that the northern groups should know that they are no more in 1967, it would not be as usual and that the Igbos are no more on their own.

Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to the recent threat from Miyetti Allah to IPOB members on the alleged killing of about 50 Northerners in the south east, the northern groups accused the IPOB and their leader, Nnamdi Kanu of making these Killings in the past one month.

The spokesman of the Miyetti Allah group on Thursday stated that the IPOB members and their leader have had blood on their hands for the alleged killing of their own in the South East, he made this statement reacting to the killing of the commander of the IPOB group last Saturday.

Although the IPOB group reacted to the threat earlier on, but Femi Fani-Kayode made a statement about the threat few minutes ago, reminding Miyetti Allah that it is not 1967 anymore and that the Igbos are no longer on their own. This statement to me means that the IPOB have strong backings and that the Miyetti Allah do not stand a chance with them anymore.

In his statement, Femi Fani-Kayode added that it is disgusting to be sending threats to the IPOB, adding that it is not the way forward for the country. He said it does not augur well for peace and unity.

Here is what Chief Femi Fani-Kayode said minutes ago;

"Disgusted that Miyetti Allah threatened the lives of Igbos. This is not the way forward & does not augur well for peace, unity & national reconciliation.

N.B. This is not 1967 & this time around the Igbos are not on their own. If you want peace reign in the killer herdsmen."

In my opinion, the current state of insecurity and insurgency does not demand all these threats, these people should be seeking for a way for peace to reign, a way that they could join hands together and fight off the terrorists terrorizing the country, not a way to spill more blood.

The groups need to apologise to each other and come together for peace. The unity of this country is strongly dependent on whether they agree to work together or not. This is not a good message to pass on to the younger generation.
