Obasanjo Finally Open Up About President Mohammadu Buhari Being Jibril Of Sudan - Read What He Said

A case that has been long forgotten by many has been reopened again, this time a prominent Nigerian, former president Olusegun Obasanjo says his take on the issue. What he said had been causing reactions online, many agreed with him while others argued his stand.

Years after many people, including Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra alleged that President Mohammadu Buhari has been cloned and that the ruling party, APC had brought one Jubril of Sudan in place of him, the former president Olusegun Obasanjo says his take on the controversy.

Recall that Nnamdi Kanu and other Nigerians accused the ruling party of cloning and bringing back a man they do not know after the president was taken to London for treatment due to his ill health. Many have obviously forgotten about that trend but it has been reawoken by a historian who interviewed Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday.



Recall also that after all was said and done, the president of Nigeria Mohammadu Buhari came out to condemn all such claims about being cloned. He said he is the president that the people voted for in 2015 and had not changed. He called all what other people such as Nnamdi Kanu had been saying about his cloning as "ignorant rumors". This statement was released by his special aide Femi Adesina, as we all know the president barely shows his face in the media.


Toyin Falola, a renowned historian had the former president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo as his guest in a zoom meeting yesterday and the conversation lasted for a few hours. But the peak of the conversation that has got people talking is what the former president said about Mohammadu Buhari being cloned.



After ansering many questions in the interview, the former president was asked the one question that has brought about this article, he was asked about President Mohammadu Buhari, how he has handled the Nigeria situation so far and the other places he needs to improve on.


As one of the oldest people who worked with president Mohammadu Buhari during the military days, Olusegun Obasanjo stated they although the Buhari he knew had changed drastically, he still does not believe what people are saying calling him a cloned man from Sudan.



He said it is absolute nonsense to think of such, he said he knew Buhari from his military days, had worked with him but did not think Buhari would fall this very low below standard. He also added that although the change is of negative, he still does not believe that president Mohammadu Buhari is cloned Jubril from Sudan.


In his words he said;

"It's nonsensical to believe that President Muhammadu Buhari is from Sudan but he has changed from the man I used to know back then in the military"

Being one of those who had encounter with Buhari from years ago, I do not think there is any better person to conclude this matter than Obasanjo and since he had concluded that the president is not a cloned man from Sudan, that should be taken.
