More Trouble for Magu As Policemen Raid His House and Found Some Documents
The
suspended acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFC,
Ibrahim Magu is in for more trouble as policemen raid his house and found some vital
documents, which may lead to the removal of the officer.
Our
correspondent speaking with a top police officer, gathered that the same
policemen who went to pick the suspended EFCC’s acting chairman, Magu from the
EFCC”s office on Monday 5th, were the same who raided his home today.
The
policemen were those working with the Force Criminal Investigation and
Intelligence Department, they raided the house while the suspended EFCC’s boss
was answering questions in a hot seat with the panel.
Speaking
with InfoAndTech, the officer said;
“On Tuesday evening, a team of policemen stormed the home of Magu in Karu. That is the house where Magu used to live before he moved to Maitama after his appointment as EFCC chairman.“The policemen made away with some items and everything will be processed as investigations continue.”
