The
West African Examination Council has debunked all rumors concerning the release
of examination timetable by the body. Speaking with news agents today, the head
of public affairs stated that the examination body is yet to produce or release
timetable for the 2020/2021 WAEC candidates.
Mr
Demianus Ojijeogu stated that all authorities and concerned persons should
avoid rumors about the timetable, the timetable would be released when the body
is ready to commence the exams.
Pleading
also with the social media influencers to stop making rumors that could
jeopardize the preparation of the body, the candidates and other organizations
involved in conducting the examinations.
He
also advised that all concerned persons should avoid paying money for anything
at the time being, as there could be scammers out there looking for who to prey
on.
In
his words, the head of public affairs for WAEC said,
“The timetable in circulation did not emanate from WAEC, Nigeria. Please, disregard.”
