See The List Of Things That Federal Government Insist Must Be Done As Schools, Roads And Airlines Are Told To Resume
The Monday briefing from the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 was followed by good news, even though there was a significant increase in the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases.
The Secretary General of the Federation and the Chairman of the PRESIDENTIALTASK Force on Covid-19, Boss Mustapha came with the good news after the announcement of the new number of confirmed Covid-19 infected cases in the country.
Here is the breakdown of the CCovid-19 cases in Nigeria,

The second phase or the extension of the ease of lock-down is expected to last for another four weeks, that is one month, just as the first ease of the lock-down.
The ease of lock-down and lift on interstate travel and many others does not come without a price, the Federal Government through the Secretary General have given seven guidelines that would successfully usher Nigeria in and out of the second phase of the easing of the lock down.
In his words he said;
“I am pleased to inform you that Mr President has carefully considered the 5th Interim Report of the PTF and has accordingly approved that, with the exception of some modifications to be expatiated upon later, the Phase Two of the eased lockdown be extended by another four weeks with effect from Tuesday, June 30, 2020 through Midnight of Monday, 27 July, 2020.
Here are the seven things in his words;
1. “Maintaining the current phase of the national response, for another four weeks in line with modifications to be expatiated by the National Coordinator;
2. “Permission of movement across state borders only outside curfew hours with effect from 1st July, 2020;
3. “Enforcement of laws around non-pharmaceutical interventions by States, in particular, the use of face masks in public places;
4. “Safe re-opening of schools to allow students in graduating classes resume in-person in preparation for examinations;
5. “Safe reopening of domestic aviation services as soon as practicable;
6. “Publication of revised guidelines around the three thematic areas of general movement, industry and labour; and community activities;
7. “Provision of technical support for states to mobilise additional resources for the response.”
