Ibrahim Magu | The Acting EFCC Chairman
Ibrahim Magu is currently the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Ibrahim Magu was appointed to be the acting Chairman of the EFCC in the year 2015 by President Mohammadu Buhari after the later won the 2015 controversial presidential election when he contested under the umbrella of the All Progressive Congress.
Mgu was born on the 5th of May, 1962. He is a graduate of Ahmedu Bello University, Zaria.
Magu is a police officer with the rank of a police commisioner. He was appointed to head the EFCC as acting chairman on the 9th of November 2020 up till date.
Ibrahim Magu was nominated by President Mohammadu Buhari to the senate tobecome the Chairman of the EFCC, but the senate rejected his nomination and he has remained the acting Chairman since 2015.
Magu was appointed after the President Buhari sacked the former EFCC Boos, Ibrahim Lamorde.
